Bon Chai Concentrate
36g Bon Chai
750ml water
75g honey
38g raw sugar
- Place all ingredients in stainless steel saucepan.
- Bring to boil. Then lower heat and simmer for 20 minutes.
- Strain and pour into glass bottle/jar. Allow to cool and refrigerate.
This concentrate will last for up to 2 months.
Optional – For unsweetened concentrate do not add sugar and honey. Please note – unsweetened concentrate should be consumed within 3 days.
Bon Chai Latte
- Fill 1/3 of your cup with Bon Chai concentrate and fill remainder of cup with FULL cream milk of choice (dairy, soy, almond, rice).
- Pour combined concentrate and milk in frothing pitcher and heat to desired serving temperature (70-75 deg C).
Serving Suggestion – sprinkle with ground cinnamon.
Iced Bon Chai
70ml Bon Chai Concentrate
180ml full cream milk of choice (dairy, soy, almond, rice)
Combine concentrate with milk and serve on lots of ice
Serving suggestion – one scoop of ice cream and a cinnamon stick.
Iced Apple Bon Chai
25ml Bon Chai Concentrate (unsweetened)
250ml 100% Cloudy Apple Juice (or freshly pressed apples even better)
Combine concentrate and juice. Serve on lots of ice.
Serving Suggestion – a slice of lemon or lime.
Chilled Citrus Bon Chai
50ml Bon Chai Caffeine Free Concentrate (unsweetened)
200ml Freshly Squeezed Orange Juice
1 Lime Wedge
1-2 Mint Leaves
Add ice to Hi Ball Glass or Jar. Squeeze lime wedge and place into glass. Add mint leaves, Bon Chai concentrate and Orange Juice. Mix well and serve.
Serving Suggestion – Cinnamon Stick.
